Dawson Stables is family owned and run with Melissa being the "woman in charge" when it comes to taking care and loving our equine partners.
Melissa has been involved with horses since the young age of 3. Her passion started very easily when her family got their first Shetland pony. From there, the family had a few OTTB horses and then as a teenager, she got involved in showing the majestic Arabian Horse in Manitoba. And now, she is involved with Paints and Quarter Horses and getting involved in Mounted Shooting and Roping.
Melissa is a successful barefoot trimmer with guidance from Hoofgeeks Barefoot Trimmers. She is currently completing her large and small animal Reiki and Massage Therapy.
Melissa is also a Certified Equine Canada Western Instructor of Beginners.
